Timber frame house with underfloor heating enters market

A Cheshire home built in just six weeks that comes complete with underfloor heating has now become available to buy. In easy walking distance of the verdant Delamere Forest, the timber framed property is set within private grounds of its own and is now accepting offers of around £825,000.

Based in Eddisbury Hill and constructed in record time, the home was built to be energy efficient while offering an ideal setting for the challenges of the recent pandemic. Providing adequate space for both outdoor and indoor living, the house was also constructed with a mind to allow residents to entertain family in unrivalled comfort.

Property owner Sue Robinson, who is currently selling the home with her partner, commented on their choice of materials and design to Cheshire Live:

“We wanted to build an energy efficient, economical to run house, with short construction time. We chose to build a timber framed house to achieve this.”

Regarding the interior design, she added that they chose open plan spaces after their experiences during lockdown, with a spacious kitchen for cooking and multi-use areas that could be adapted to suit different needs when necessary.

The home has a mezzanine landing, two bathrooms and four individual bedrooms, all warmed with underfloor heating. Outside, the garden has covered spaces, so it can be appreciated in any weather, and it is south facing to catch the best of the sun.

The couple confirmed that having an outdoor area where they could socialise safely during lockdown had been priceless.
