Edinburgh show home launches with underfloor heating

A property that is one of three opulent show homes opening for summer viewing in West Edinburgh features luxurious underfloor heating, among other high-spec features.

Based in Balerno’s select neighbourhood of Ravelrig Heights, The Waverley is property specialist CALA Home’s largest show home in the Scottish capital, which offers 3,700 square foot of living space. Along with providing its future residents with enviable comfort from its underfloor heating solution, it also boasts an electric-powered gated entrance for premium levels of security.

Ideal for modern living and remote working, the property features an expansive garden and additional accommodation above the detached garage that is entirely self-contained, making it well-suited for home office use.

All fixtures and fittings have been carefully selected for their high specifications, and living spaces are open plan, creating adaptable areas to suit different family needs. Like the other show homes being launched by CALA in the west side of the city, The Waverley has five large double bedrooms, making it perfect for large families or those who enjoy entertaining friends and relatives.

The show home also has interior design by Envision Design’s Eileen Kesson. Speaking of its design to the Edinburgh Reporter, she commented:

“This beautiful home was a delight to design – its abundance of space and lavish proportions allowed us to mix formal with casual.”

Located in Balerno, The Waverley offers easy access to Edinburgh, the city’s airport and excellent opportunities for schooling. Its picturesque surrounding countryside also presents an ideal setting for walks and other outdoor pursuits.
