New Northumberland homes benefit from underfloor heating
A development based in Cramlington, Northumberland, which houses a complex designed for modern living, complete with underfloor heating, has reached another milestone. Eight brand-new bungalows are now complete, joining a wide variety of other residences onsite that are all set to welcome in their new owners.
The extensive project, which represents a £9.4 million investment, will be completed in its entirety later on this year, according to Construction Manager at Tolent, Ian Avis, who commented to the News Post Leader that:
“It is a pleasure to walk around the site and showcase the progress the team have made. The bungalows have been delivered to an exceptional quality and the team are now concentrating on delivering the contemporary living complex to the same high standards.”
The residences have been built with no expense spared, and they feature two bedrooms each, modern kitchens fully equipped with white goods, shower rooms and underfloor heating systems. The bungalows have been designed with older homeowners in mind, making underfloor heating systems a suitable choice.
Not only can underfloor heating see residents enjoy lower energy bills, but their radiant heat can also help with stiff joints and muscular pain experienced in later life. Additionally, unlike bulky radiators that present hard, hot and sometimes sharp elements, underfloor heating is far safer for those with mobility issues.
The bungalows were fitted with bathroom and kitchen designs that were hand-picked by their new owners to suit personal specifications.
Once complete, the new development entitled “Rosebrough” will provide 60 new high-quality properties, including 48 rental apartments that are self-contained, eight bungalows and four separate Tyneside flats.
